Why we call call ourselves a "Druid Church and School"
When (we) applied for a religious 501c3 with US IRS in the 70's The IRS understood very well what a Church was, A Druid grove had no meaning to them. In the American Laws and Society everyone associates a Church as a Place and or Organization of religious worship.
The IRS in USA is de facto definer of (for purposes of rights and protects under the laws of the land) what is a religion and what is not.
While much has changed since the 1970's. I Legal application to IRS, I still feel the term removes any possible ambiguity. After that you may use and other labels you wish.
While most often thought of as Christian, # 2 is very clear.
