Why we call call ourselves a "Druid Church and School"

When (we) applied for a religious 501c3 with US IRS in the 70's The IRS understood very well what a Church was, A Druid grove had no meaning to them. In the American Laws and Society everyone associates a Church as a Place and or Organization of religi
ous worship.

The IRS in USA is de facto definer of (for purposes of rights and protects under the laws of the land) what is a religion and what is not.

While much has changed since the 1970's. I Legal application to IRS, I still feel the term removes any possible ambiguity. After that you may use and other labels you wish.

While most often thought of as Christian, # 2 is very clear.

And a Druid Church and School was very clear to the IRS.

I do hope this rather long explanation helps.
